“We’ve been going to Chris for music lessons for almost 3 years. My daughter had taken piano lessons for a year elsewhere, but we were interested in broadening her interest in different musical instruments. She now plays piano, ukulele, and is learning guitar. She is also coached on her singing during her lessons. Having gone to another piano teacher, I feel I can speak on how impressed I am by Chris and his music school. I have never had one complaint and love that she’s learning from both Chris and Katie. The recitals are great and both teachers have been extremely supportive and professional. Sometimes I sit in on the lesson, and it’s so much fun to see what my 6th grader is doing and how Chris really brings out her talent and encourages her confidence.

Something to note for new parents to music lessons: it is hard work and children can lose interest quickly. The teachers cannot force your child to be consistent and excited. My youngest tried piano for a few months and it didn’t work for her. If they have an interest, give it a few months and remind the student of what they wanted to learn or a goal they hope to achieve. And let the teacher teach!”
